About Jennifer

Hi, I’m Jen (she/her), the founder of Bloom Therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I spent five years as a buyer in the fashion industry. This experience outside the therapy world broadened my perspective and enriched my skill set.

My journey into therapy began when I returned to school to earn my master’s in art therapy. I started working with young people in schools, providing art therapy in classroom settings. It was there that I encountered trauma and grief, which inspired me to focus my energy on helping others navigate these challenges.

Before establishing my private practice, I was part of a hospice and palliative care team at a major hospital network, supporting families and children through their grief journeys. During the pandemic, I trained in EMDR and have since witnessed incredible transformations as clients work through their difficult experiences.

I feel humbled and honored to be part of each individual’s personal journey. While our experiences are unique, we walk this world together. It’s important to me that my clients never feel alone. I believe in treating everyone as the unique individuals they are, using a compassionate, empathetic, and strength-based approach in our sessions.
